Covering Dartmouth & surrounding villages within 7 miles Dartmouth Food Bank is a small independent charitable organisation run by volunteers. We depend on donations of long life, fresh foods and money in order to supply those in need in our community. Local agencies, such as Housing Associations also attend to give confidential help. Free tea, coffee & cake is available. We also have activities like journalling, colouring, painting & Lego for adults & children. Dartmouth Food Bank is open every Friday from 11am – 1pm at Townstal Community Hall, TQ6 9LJ.

Bickington Goodwill Community Fridge
Goodwill Community Holdings based at Bickington now have the community fridge open @grannypat farmshop and hope it will be a way for the community to reduce food waste and share produce from our community allotment site also and this will be a benefit to the whole community .
Buckfastleigh Social Supermarket
A place for all those living in Buckfastleigh and surrounding smaller villages to access affordable food and household products. You can get at least 10 items for a suggested donation of £3.50. We run every Tuesday at Buckfastleigh Rangers Football and Social Club between 15:30-17:00.

Ashburton Community Fridge reduces food waste by making surplus food freely available to all residents of the town. Volunteers regularly collect and monitor fresh stock from supermarkets, shops, wholesalers and growers. and members of the local community and businesses also contribute surplus from their own fridge or gardens. Newton Abbot Community Fridge
Newton Abbot Community Fridge is open to everyone and is located outside The Courtenay Centre and open 24/7. Our main aim is to help prevent food waste and so collect food from businesses and shops around the town, then make it available for people to take free of charge so prevent it going to waste. People are also welcome to donate any unopened food that they know they won’t be able to use but might be useful to someone else!
Kingsteignton Community Larder
The larder is situated in the porch area at the front of the Community Hall/ Town Council Offices building in Rydon Road It is mostly stocked with non-perishable foods (in date) as well as some toiletries. Fresh produce and bread may be available at times. Please help yourself or leave any goods that you can donate (as above) to help each other.

The Alice Cross Centre Teignmouth
We hold a community café every Thursday from 1:30pm – 4pm and Saturday morning breakfast from 9am – 12pm, with last orders at 11:30am. We serve hot food, light bites, desserts and hot drinks on a pay what you can basis. There are games, books, puzzles and ipads available and a phone charging station. We also run pop up cookery classes, based around eating nutritious food on a budget and saving energy.
